Off stage, the Oyaji Dancers lead normal working life just like the rest but on stage, they transform into dashing charming dancers that take the country
by storm. The Oyaji Dancers consist of Hasegawa 16t, Matsumoto Dokan, Nakijima Jetemu, Otsu Nenkintecho and Papaya Suzuki, the leader that bought the group together.
The idea of Oyaji Dancers was originated from Papaya Suzuki as he wondered how it will be like to have a team of fat, middle-age men or skinny, wimpy looking men that lead normal working life
dance together. The idea became a reality when men from different walks of life were introduced to him through his circle of friends in the business. he Oyaji Dancers have already performed
in front of thousands at concert, make numerous television appearances and released a number of CDs. Though they define themselves as Oyaji, a popular term used for not cool and washed-up middle-age
men, they are definitely sending out a strong message to young people that not all Oyaji are wash out. The Oyaji Dancers are definitely out to win hearts with their heartbreaking ballets, outrageous
dance steps and matchless energy. So, better keep a look out for Papaya Suzuki and the Oyaji Dancers! |
